The composition features central protagonist John Hartigan (Bruce Willis) alongside key characters Dwight McCarthy (Clive Owen), Nancy Callahan (Jessica Alba), Jackie Boy (Benicio del Toro), and Gail (Rosario Dawson). The visual style perfectly mirrors Miller&#8217;s original comic book artwork, utilizing high-contrast, black-and-white cinematography with selective splashes of color.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">FUN FACT<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">To achieve the film&#8217;s distinct look, it was shot entirely on high-definition digital video against green screens, with the stylized backgrounds added completely in post-production.
